I'm receiving the message 'Your browser's cookie functionality is turned off. Please turn it on.' What does this mean?

If you're receiving this message, it's possible that you don't have cookies enabled in your browser. To enable cookies, just follow the browser-specific steps below:

Mozilla Firefox (1.0 final release and earlier)

1. Go to the Tools menu.
2. Select Options.
3. Select the Privacy icon in the left panel.
4. Check the box corresponding to Allow sites to set cookies.
5. Click OK to save changes.

Netscape 7.1/Mozilla 5.0

1. Select Preferences from the Edit menu.
2. Click the arrow next to Privacy & Security in the scrolling window to expand.

If you've already checked that your cookies are enabled and you're still receiving this error message, try opening a new window in your browser. Sometimes using tabs in a single browser instance can cause your cookies to stick.
